Eastern's SunScape® Awning System |
ARMS |
All other awning systems lack the necessary strength in their arms. This can lead to broken arms and the entire awning could fail. |
|
Sunscape® arms are manufactured with top quality extrusions and heavy, thick wall castings that provide superior arm strength. |
CABLES |
Most awning manufacturers use galvanized steel cables. Our competitor's cable, after only a year and a half, has completely deteriorated. |
|
Eastern uses only high quality stainless steel cable in our spring tension systems. Under comparable conditions this 13 year-old stainless steel cable shows no evidence of rust or corrosion. |
JOINTS |
Typically, lateral arm joints are either pressed-fit, riveted or screwed. This type of arm assembly causes excessive wear which weakens the structure and creates an irritating creaking noise with the slightest breeze. |
|
All SunScape® arms joints are permanently bonded with Loctite® Epoxy. This unique method in arm assembly is thousands of pounds stronger than typical methods. Additionally it eliminates noise and joint fatigue throughout the life of the awning. |
PAINT |
Most awning manufactures fail to provide an adequate protective finish, if any at all. This photo illustrates the result from poor surface preparation or paint quality. |
|
SunScape® castings and components are painted with an electrostatic polyester powder coating. This superior finish provides an extremely attractive, durable, protective coating which resists cracking, chipping, and peeling. |
FASTENERS |
Most manufacturers do not use stainless steel fasteners. Regular steel fasteners will prematurely rust and stain the frame fabric and surrounding area. |
|
SunScape® is built exclusively with high grade stainless steel fasteners assuring a lifetime of rust free operation and appearance. This is especially critical in all waterfront and oceanfront environments. |
